The Middlebury Institute of International Studies has recommended for you to attend the English Preparation for Graduate Studies Program (EPGS) offered by the English Language School. This program is designed to help you develop important academic skills that will help you succeed in your graduate studies. The Institute has made an important investment in your success. As a result, we strongly recommend that you attend and actively participate in the program. Successful completion of the program involves attending all of the classes and completing the course assignments on time.


  

You have been conditionally admitted to the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. To be fully admitted into your graduate degree program, you must successfully place into 300-level or above (graduate level) English for Academic & Professional Purposes (EAPP) courses. To comply with the terms of your admittance, you must agree to the following:

Additional Information About EPGS:

EPGS is an academic English preparation program. The program lasts for six weeks. 

Non-scholarship students are required to pay the full cost of tuition, which is $4,700 for incoming Translation and Interpretation students and $4,500 for all other incoming graduate students.

For Summer Language Scholarship recipients, the full cost of the EPGS program tuition is covered by the scholarship.
