Arabic Summer Intensive Language Program

Fast-track your Arabic language skills this summer!

The Summer Intensive Language Program at Monterey will help you achieve your language learning goals and communicate with confidence while you spend a summer in beautiful Monterey, California.

The program runs from June 13 – August 7, 2019

Summer

Eight weeks (equivalent to one academic year of study).
Beautiful coastal California location.
The perfect time to focus soley on your Arabic skills.

Language

Integrated reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Understanding of cultural, social, and historical context of Arabic language use.

Intensive

Small classes (average of eight students).
Four and a half hours of class each day.
In-language cocurricular activites, such as an Arabic music festival in Santa Cruz and iftar dinners.

Program

Curricular focus on current world events and materials.
Individual projects to develop fluency in particular fields of interest.
Designed for both professional and academic goals.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition is $4,175 ($522 per unit).

You can waive the $50 application fee if you reference “SILPpartner” in the fee waiver section of your application. University of the Pacific is awarding full Arabic language scholarships to a select number of students.
